On 01.18.11 we’ll be playing at Ella St. Social Club! The 1st half of this year we will not be playing out as often. We’re starting to record a series of singles we’ll be releasing digitally this year. More details on that will be announced soon.

This Friday we will be in Seattle at the Skylark Cafe and it will be our last show of the year! We have been busy working on some new stuff and we may break out a few new songs at the show. The release date for our debut full length record Empty Skies is 10.11.11! We’re planning a release party and a short tour to celebrate so keep a look out for dates. Next Thursday we’ll be at The Globe with a band from Seattle called Shotty. Saturday we’ll be at The Twilight Cafe with Black Market Sunday. Hope to see ya this weekend.

This weekend we’ll be heading down to Cottage Grove to play a benefit for the Humane Society. We’ll be playing at the Axe and Fiddle with many other bands. Music starts at 1pm and goes till after 6pm.

July 9th we will be playing the Humane Society Benefit in Cottage Grove Oregon. If you’re in that area plan on coming down and supporting the animals. The album is almost done! Mastering should be finishing up this week. We’re still working on the artwork and some other things but hopefully we’ll be able to announce a release date before the end of the month!

Our next show is at The Tonic Lounge! We’re playing with Tiger House and Unicorn Domination. They both rock so check them out and come to the show. We’re all done with mixing the album and it’s being sent off for mastering next week. Listening back to the mixes as I type this. Stoked.

Thursday we are playing in St. Johns at Slim’s with Tigress and Rare Monk. Also we are excited to announce we are almost done with our album! We’re finishing up the mixing this week and it will be mastered in mid-May. We should be announcing the release date sometime in May as well.

We’re leaving our myspace up for now but won’t be posting anything new there directly. Bryan Minus & The Disconnect are busy working on our 1st full length album. Our show at Oak St. Tavern in Milwaukee got cancelled :(. We’ll be trying to play down there in a couple months. Our next show will be at the Tiger Bar right here in Portland. Thanks to everyone who came out Wednesday! Until March we’ll be hiding in a cave recording our next opus. We’ll try to post up some pictures.

This coming Wednesday Bryan Minus & The Disconnect will be playing at Ash St. Saloon. We’re playing with The Interlopers and Hot ‘n Bothered from Olympia, Wa. The band has been doing some recording as we start working on our next record and we’re pretty stoked. Other than that we’re drinking copious amounts of coffee and gleaning as much info as possible from the developing AI known as the internet.

Thanks to all who came out to The Hawthorne Theatre last night. Unfortunately Brad has announced he has to leave the band as he is moving to Texas at the beginning of February. We wish him luck at his new home and appreciate the time he played drums with us. Thanks Brad. We’ll still be playing our scheduled shows coming up in February but we’re going to be pushing back recording our next release until we find a new drummer. We’ll let you know of any updates.

Happy new year! To bring in the year right we have new look as well. Spiffy huh? Bryan Minus & The Disconnect had a great 2010 and we’re looking forward to more in 2011. We’ve just begun work on our first full length and plan to play as many shows as possible this year. Also look for some new merch up soon. We had a great time in Seattle thanks to everyone who came out, the bands and The Skylark. This Thursday we’re playing in PDX at The Water Heater w/ Cold Metal and The Silent Numbers. If you have not heard these other bands check them out, its going to be a good show. This is probably our second to last show of the year so come on out.
